About the Position

Reporting to the NT Branch Manager, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for running and coordinating the day-to-day administrative duties. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for the office and will be confident in themselves to undertake a range of tasks and support as and when required.

Key Accountabilities

  • Initial contact for enquiries, screening telephone calls, and providing appropriate responses.
  • Monitor incoming mail and email, responding where appropriate and forwarding to Senior Management.
  • Maintain records and filing of reports, correspondence and related material for ease of access.
  • Provide administrative support to the NT Branch Manager and other staff as required.
  • Provide NT project support as directed
  • Provide corporate administration, WHS and finance support to the SA Corporate Team as directed
  • General office administration and purchasing office supplies.
  • Arrange and provide support for meetings and conferences including co-ordination and distribution of meeting papers, agendas and minute taking.
  • Draft correspondence as required and collect information and data to compile reports and papers.
  • Assist the QAR in the maintenance of the Quality and Information Security Management system.

  • Demonstrated high level initiative and strong organisational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously with limited direction or management.
  • Ability and willingness to adapt to a wide range of duties, responsibilities and working conditions.
  • Ability to relate well to others and work in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing high quality secretarial and administrative support to a senior level.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to draft timely and accurate correspondence.
  • Demonstrated ability with computing skills, and MS Office products.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and provide solutions to a range of operational issues.
